Social Platform Moderation Policy

The Gallery encourages an active exchange of ideas and opinions on our Gallery Explorer App for different perspectives that help spark meaningful conversations on our page. However, in order to maintain a positive experience for all visitors, we will moderate discussions and delete comments categorised under the following:

Trolling

Trolling is a defined as a post that is deliberately designed for the purpose of angering and insulting other players in an attempt to incite retaliation or an emotional response.

Personal Attacks

Commonly known as flaming, personal attacks are posts that are designed to personally berate or insult another user.

Discrimination / Racism

Racism, gender stereotyping, hate speech, and sexism are not permitted. Profanity / Coarse Language The use of profanity is prohibited. This includes the partial masking of letters using numbers or alternate symbols.

Inappropriate Content

The posting of pornography, discriminatory remarks which are sexually explicit, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive as well as excessive obscene or vulgar language, posts which discuss or illustrate illegal activity, or an instance of providing links to sites that contain any of the aforementioned is strictly prohibited

Advertisements

Link or content to sites that offer goods or services for sales will be hidden.

SPAM

Spam is defined as the repetitive posting of the same topic or nonsensical post that has no substance and is often designed to annoy other users.

Blocking

Individuals who repeatedly violate this moderation policy maybe permanently blocked from logging in to our app.

Reporting

If you see a post or comment that you believe violates the policy, please report it to us by sending a screenshot to info@nationalgallery.sg.

The Gallery reserves the right to update our moderation policy as needed.
