I obtained my Ph.D. and [login to view URL]. in Electrical Engineering from University of Manitoba, Canada, and [login to view URL]. in Electrical Engineer from University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka.
I'm specialized in simulations and mathematical model developments of power systems and power electronics systems; therefore, posses numerous research and analytical skills related to electrical/power engineering. Furthermore, I have a great level of experience (5++ years) in programming including C\C++, Fortran, and MATLAB.
Apart from that I have taken various graduate courses like Advanced Matrix Algorithms, Parallel processing, Power system analysis and control, Advanced power electronics, Applied power electronics, HVDC systems..etc.
At the moment I'm looking to to build a reputation for my account but still looking for an opportunity.
Thank You

Assessment of dynamic phasor extraction methods for power system co-simulation applications
Elsevier
The paper examines a number of methods for extracting dynamic phasors (DPs) from samples of natural waveforms that are generated using electromagnetic transient (EMT) simulators. It delves into the theory underlying each phasor extraction method and the numerical routines used for their implementation and performs an analysis of the properties of the extracted phasors for general power system signals that may include various power system transient scenarios.
A Co-Simulation Platform for Modeling and Testing MMCs and Their Controls in Large Networks
IEEE
This paper presents a method to represent the dynamics of modular multilevel converters embedded in a large power system using a multi-rate co-simulation platform. The co-simulation platform includes dynamic phasor (DP) and electromagnetic transient (EMT) solvers. It uses large simulation time-steps in the DP subsystem for fast computations. The MMC model is embedded in the DP-side of the co-simulator. Modeling the converters control systems including non-linearities, are also discussed
A Method for Modeling and Testing MMCs and Their Controls in Large Power System Simulation Studies
Cigre Canada
In this paper, an average-value MMC model is developed using the concept of dynamic phasors (DPs). The paper also develops a novel method for modeling and testing nonlinear converter control blocks that are prohibitively difficult to implement in an average value model due to the ignored details of harmonic behaviour of internal waveforms. Important time-domain instantaneous measurements are combined with DP techniques to obtain accurate dynamic and control results.
