My name is Martyna Krystek, and I am 26 years old. Since I was 18, I’ve been studying abroad. First, I attended Beijing Foreign Studies University in Beijing, where I started my YouTube channel, initially called "Martyna in China" (“Martyna w Chinach”, it rhymes in Polish and seemed to be a perfect name at that time), and later evolved it into "Martyna Krystek." This is when my journey into creative thinking and video editing began, about 7 years ago. My channel mainly focused on Chinese culture and the Chinese language.
In 2021, I started working at Polish Radio, where for two years I hosted my own radio show. Every week, I shared insights about China and Asian cultures, and also taught Mandarin. During my master's studies in Taiwan (International Masters in International Communication Studies), I further developed my media skills both in class and through my time working there. I worked as a Video Editor for the Taiwanese company LiveABC, where I handled video editing, translations, and managed our company’s YouTube channel.
Since October 2024, I have been working as a News Editor at TVN, Warner Bros. My role focuses on video editing, news writing, and editing, which has become my main profession. I am creative, ambitious, and communicate excellently with my clients. If something needs to be done by tomorrow, I will have it ready today.
I also manage social media and create websites, primarily for musicians.
