I need an experienced Android developer to create an app that can analyze facial symmetry by detecting specific facial landmarks using real-time camera input. The app will identify key facial points and calculate angles between specific landmarks (e.g., between the ear and jawline) to assess facial symmetry and structure.
The app will use MediaPipe FaceMesh or a similar framework for real-time facial landmark detection and should have a clean, user-friendly interface. Please refer to the sample images for understanding the points required for mapping. Detailed points will be shared once work starts. Here are the key requirements:
Key Features:
1. Real-Time Face Scanning: Use the device's camera to scan and capture the face in real-time. Option to take a photo directly within the app for analysis.
2. Facial Landmark Detection: Identify key landmarks such as the ears, jawline, chin, nose, etc. Display detected landmarks on the user's face as an overlay.
3. Angle Calculation: Calculate angles between specific points, such as between the ear and the jawline, to assess facial symmetry. Display the calculated angles visually on the app.
4. Symmetry Assessment: Analyze the detected points and angles to determine facial symmetry. Provide feedback (e.g., "Good symmetry" or "Slight asymmetry").
5. UI/UX: Simple and intuitive UI for both scanning and displaying results. A real-time preview with overlaid landmarks and calculated data.
