1- A 9-minute walk from the TURIA RIVER The old riverbed, which runs through the center of the city, has become a leisure-cultural area, the Túria Garden, where there are large landscaped spaces, sports areas, exhibition halls , open auditoriums and the CITY OF ARTS AND SCIENCES
2 -RUZAFA, 15 minutes walk, is a popular neighborhood full of cafes, American-style patisseries, cafes with terraces, bars and nightclubs open until the wee hours of the morning, and restaurants serving hamburgers, Moroccan dishes or Turkish specialties. The streets are dotted with small art galleries, alternative clothing boutiques and organic food stores. In the stalls of the Ruzafa market, a brutalist-style building, a multitude of local products are sold.
3-A 30 min walk from the CENTRAL MARKET. This spectacular Valencian modernist-style bazaar has 1,200 stalls selling all kinds of food such as fish, shellfish, fruit, spices, meat and sausages, among others, both for domestic consumption and to supply important restaurants in Valencia, with what is crowned as the largest fresh produce market in Europe. Shopping in this place is full of charm due to the beauty of its architecture and the tradition and history of the market.
4 - A 25 minute walk is THE COLON MARKET. The building is one of the best examples of Valencian modernism architecture from the beginning of the last century. It is also declared a National Monument.
5 - 18 minutes by car is the LA ALBUFERA NATURAL PARK, which is a protected natural area. Its ecological value is very great since species of great ecological value in danger of extinction are found here. Watching a sunset over La Albufera is something you should not miss.
