As you'll be in the centre all the Museums and Buda castle is easy to access, as the great Szent István park is just a couple of minutes walk, where also Pozsonyi street is located with fantastic coffee shops, restaurants, confectionary shops etc.. On Pozsonyi street I have several prefered coffee shops, and ice cream shops, plus I love Szent Istvan park. On Andrassy (2 stops from the apartment) you can find Terror Haza museum, and end of Andrassy at Hosok Tere, you'll find Szepmuveszeti and Mucsarnok too. Parlament also a good 10-15 minute walk from the apartment, or you can take tram 2 which is 1 stop only. Going with tram 2 you can get to a gay bar on the Danube promenade, called Why Not, and Alterego is close to Andrassy.
