Very central and spacious sunny apartment, ideal for two people who will share a double bed (a comfortable futon). Due to its location it's the perfect base to explore my beautiful city and then go back to rest while looking at the lovely view from the balcony. Very close to the gay areas! Quiet cull de sac street with no traffic. The flat is fully equipped and has fast wifi and cable tv.
The flat has lots of light and direct access to a balcony for short vacation stay in the heart of Lisbon. The apartment has one large bedroom with a lovely river/bridge view (25th April bridge), kitchen, one sunny eating area and a bathroom. It is perfect for two people (max.) sharing the same bed.
It has full cooking facilities, including a gas stove, an electrical oven, a fridge, a microwave oven, coffee making facilities, a kettle, a toaster and all the cooking gear you might ever need! Tea, sugar and spices are provided free of charge.
The apartment is very quiet as it is located on a dead-end street. The exception to this is June, when there are popular celebrations in several neighborhoods throughout the city, so expect some street noise during the weekends of June, in particular in the eve of the 13th, when everyone hits the street for sardines, grilled pork and lots of beer! The apartment can be a wonderful point to watch and explore the festivities, if you’re not planning on sleeping early that night! Again – this is only during the month of June, all other times are very quiet!
The apartment has heating and a small fan, wireless high-speed Internet connection, cable tv with plenty of international channels. The bedroom is equipped with a huge (100cm/42in) LCD TV. There is a wired loudspeaker in the lounge/eating area. You will be sleeping on a comfortable futon.
The apartment is charming but be mindful that it is located on an old building (mid 1800s) with all the charm and quirkiness that comes with that :)
Tea is included in the rate. We also supply towels and shower gel/shampoo, so no need to bring any of that. There are plenty of Lisbon and Portugal maps and touristic information in the apartment for guests to use.
Warning: this is a 4th floor walk-up, so not fitted for people with mobility impairments! (good workout for those who are not, though! :)

The flat is nicely located in the historical and cultural heart of Lisbon, 5 min walk from Bairro Alto, the bohemian night life centre of Lisbon with plenty of bars and restaurants. Principe Real, Lisbon’s main gaybourhood is 15 mins walking distance.

Smoking is not allowed inside the apartment, but it is on the balcony, with the view to enjoy :)
