Las Vegas Pride

You can show your Las Vegas Gay Pride at the yearly festival in Sin City. Though the event's primary focus is the parade, it also includes other activities and fun things. The first festival was held in 1983 and saw a turnout of only a few hundred people. That figure has increased yearly, and now Las Vegas Gay Pride sees an attendance of more than 25,000 people.

Attendance grew even larger for 2017 Las Vegas Pride, which paid tribute to the estimated 60 people who died in a shooting earlier that year in the city. Those who attended in 2018 saw the 20th edition of the parade and the 35th anniversary of the festival. The Southern Nevada Association of Pride turns out yearly and puts on other events, including bingo games and hiking trips.

As one of the only pet-friendly LGBTQ events in the US, Las Vegas Pride allows pride enthusiasts to bring their pets with them. Sunset Park, where most of the fun occurs, hosts many events for animals and their owners. You can sign your dog up for the costume contest and check out all the other pets who come out to celebrate.
