Gay Pride Marseille

Since 1993, Gay Pride Marseille has been coloring this charming city on the Mediterranean. Each year, pride enthusiasts march through the city streets to honor those who fought for LGBTQ rights during the Stonewall Riots of 1969 in New York.

Pride Marseille has become well known for attracting a range of different personalities from the political and cultural fields, who come to promote strong messages of equality, diversity, and inclusion. The event usually takes place over one weekend, normally in July, and it includes a pride parade, an afterparty, and a Pride Festival.

Marseille was host to the Europride 2013.
