Health Liaison Officers (HLOs)

The primary role of a Health Liaison Officer is to promote and provide direction for improved health outcomes for all children in foster care. 

Community Mental Health Services Programs (CMHSPs)

Today, community mental health services programs (CMHSPs) and the organizations with which they contract provide a comprehensive range of services and supports to children, adolescents and adults with mental illnesses, developmental disabilities and substance use disorders in all 83 Michigan counties.

Foster Care Psychotropic Medication Oversight Unit (FC-PMOU)

The Foster Care Psychotropic Medication Oversight Unit is an ongoing partnership between the Children's Services Administration Child Welfare Medical Unit, Mental Health Services to Children and Families and Juvenile Justice Programs, and the Medical Services Administration Pharmacy Management Division and Office of Medical Affairs.
