PEABODY ROOFTOP PARTIES

Beginning in April, Thursdays through Aug. 15, 2024
How about a rooftop dance party to jumpstart your weekends this summer? If you’re 21+, the weekly rooftop parties at the Peabody Memphis are a must. Each Thursday throughout the summer, beginning April 18, 2024, the iconic hotel hosts a live DJ and weekly headliner. Plus, there’s a VIP area, multiple bars, a dance floor and scenic views of Downtown Memphis and the Mississippi River.

Orion Free Concert Series at The Shell

Beginning in May; Select Dates Through October 2024
One of Memphis’ favorite summer traditions, the Orion Free Concert Series, is back at the Overton Park Shell. Pack up your cooler and lawn chair and head to Midtown Memphis to take in all kinds of touring acts and local performers. This free outdoor concert series includes dozens of free events running May through October. The 2024 lineup includes Sister Hazel, Cedric Burnside, Matthew Sweet, Ruthie Foster and the North Mississippi Allstars, Sunset Symphony, Stax Music Academy and more. 

Live at the Garden

Select Dates Through October 2024
Another beautiful setting for summer entertainment, the 96-acre Memphis Botanic Garden, presents live music during its Live at the Garden concert series at Radians Amphitheater. The 2024 lineup features Dierks Bentley, Goo Goo Dolls, John Fogerty, Sam Hunt and Styx and Foreigner. 

Memphis Pride Fest

May 30 - June 2, 2024
Don't miss the largest LGBTQ+ gathering in the area! Memphis Pride Fest Weekend includes the 5th annual Drag N Drive, Drag Brunch, the Big Gay Dance Party and the annual Memphis Pride Parade down iconic Beale Street.

TRI-STATE BLACK PRIDE

June 13-16, 2024 
Celebrate Pride Month at Tri-State Black Pride! Take in speakers, workshops and educational sessions at this four-day event at downtown's Sheraton Memphis Downtown. Then, cap your weekend with can’t-miss events like a drag brunch and comedy show and the 4th Annual Pride Music Festival at Memphis Music Room.

Memphis Juneteenth Festival

June 14-15, 2024
Celebrate Black heritage and culture at the 31st annual Memphis Juneteenth Festival. This cultural awareness festival at Health Sciences Park features live music, a freedom walk/run, local vendors and more. Craft Food & Wine Festival

We hope you're hungry! Craft Food & Wine Festival invites you to sample the best bites of Memphis' culinary scene. Your ticket includes a tasting tray and glass so you can wander from vendor to vendor, sampling a variety of offerings, like wine, beer, cheeses, fruits, preserves and all kinds of charcuterie and other finger foods.

Summer Cocktail Festival

July 12, 2024
Pair craft concoctions with local bites at the Summer Cocktail Festival at The Kent Memphis. Sample tasty mixtures from a lineup of over 30 spirits. Admission includes a dozen sample-sized cocktails. Plus, food trucks will be onsite. 

Elvis Week 2024

August 9-17, 2024
Commemorate the 46th anniversary of Elvis’ passing at Elvis Week 2024. Fans from around the world will gather at Elvis Presley’s Graceland to celebrate the life and legacy of the King of Rock and Roll with live concerts, guest speakers and other fan-favorite events like the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest and the annual Candlelight Vigil.

FedEx St. Jude Championship

August 14-18, 2024
See the world’s best golfers compete at TPC Southwind. Memphis will play host to the top 70 golfers in the FedExCup standings in the first event of the FedExCup Playoffs, the FedEx St. Jude Championship.

Memphis Chicken and Beer Festival 

August 17, 2024
The annual Memphis Chicken and Beer Festival is back at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium this August. Get your tickets to sample a variety of craft beverages. Plus, there will be live entertainment, inflatables for the kids, yard games and food for purchase from local restaurants.

Ongoing Summer Sports

Throughout Summer
Sports fans are in luck, as many of Memphis' professional sports organizations are in action throughout the summer. Triple-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals, the Memphis Redbirds play at Downtown's AutoZone Park. The season is underway and runs through September. The USL's 901 FC also plays its home matches at AutoZone Park. Cheer on the club with the "Bluff City Mafia" fan group from April through October. The Memphis Showboats, of the USFL,  are set for their second season in the Bluff City.
