Agricultural (Ag) Engine Registration
Monterey Bay Air Resources District (MBARD) is responsible for implementing the Federal Hazardous Air Pollutant regulations (40 Code of Federal Regulations Parts 60 and 63) and the State of California’s Air Toxic Control Measure (California Code of Regulations, Title 17, Section 93115) as they pertain to engines. To that end, MBARD staff worked with the agricultural community to implement a program to address the Federal and State engine requirements and adopted the local MBARD Rule 220.
