What's that one thing you are good at? That one thing can be the foundation of your skills, interests, and career. Back in 2016 During my internship in HR operations, our first assignment was to highlight the 10 important sections of the employee file that could give us a brief idea of the employee's profile and work history. Our manager gave us the employee file, and we, a group of 5 interns, took the papers, went through the file, and got started. After completing the assignment, our manager appreciated my work. It was during this experience that I realized I am good at observation. Before writing this post I was closely observing the profile of my client who has booked a call with me ''He wants me to handle his LinkedIn Profile'' Wish me Luck 💜 P.S. Procedure for Applications I applied for an internship at GBHR with a bright outlook. The application process was fair and demanding, with the goal of finding applicants who shared the company's values and goals while also possessing the requisite knowledge. The entire process, from submitting a detailed CV to participating in interviews, was informative. During the interviews, I was able to speak with some of the most experienced HR professionals. It was clear that they were passionate about promoting individual empowerment and business success. Throughout these chats, I gained a deep appreciation for their commitment to both their clients and workers. We addressed my monthly plans and processes as an industrial psychologist, including my learning path and responsibilities. The highlight was the opportunity to speak with the CEO Mr.Oommen Abraham, whose personal involvement and passion for my possible role made me very enthusiastic to join the team. Completed the HR internship in "Toptrove".

When I started as an HR intern, I thought I had a pretty good idea of what to expect—processing paperwork, scheduling interviews, and learning the ropes of corporate life. What I didn’t expect was that this internship would completely transform my understanding of what it means to work in HR. One day, I was tasked with organizing an onboarding session for a new group of employees. I meticulously prepared, making sure every document was in place, every presentation slide was perfect. But when the day arrived, I noticed something—the new hires weren’t just looking for information; they were looking for connection. After the session, one of the new employees approached me. She was nervous, uncertain about fitting into the company’s culture. Instead of just giving her a checklist of things to do, I decided to sit down and talk with her, sharing my own experiences and reassuring her that she wasn’t alone. That conversation turned into a mentorship that lasted well beyond my internship. She found her footing in the company, and I found something too—a deeper understanding of the true role of HR. It’s not just about policies and procedures; it’s about people and the stories they bring with them. As an intern, I learned that HR is the bridge between the organization and its people.
