Thank you to our partners at The US Center for Advanced Manufacturing, LIFT, and Kearney, for the opportunity to lead a tour of Guidewheel within the Kearney Digital Model Factory.
Guidewheel's CEO, Lauren Dunford, discussed best practices for leveraging innovation with US Center for Advanced Manufacturing CEO, Cynthia Hutchison, Kearney Partner and Americas Automotive and Industrials Lead, Doug Mehl, and LIFT’s Senior Director, Christine Longroy. The discussion offered valuable insight into how manufacturers can realize the potential from new innovations by focusing on technologies with fast time to value and building clear change management plans.
Created in partnership with the LIFT Manufacturing Institute, the Digital Model Factory (DMF) allows participants to explore how Industry 4.0 (i4.0) technologies can add value in operations efficiency, safety, and quality through an engaging, hands-on learning experience. So valuable to see several technologies discussed in the panel live in action at the DMF!
Following the Innovation Summit, attendees enjoyed an exclusive tour of the LIFT Facility – thanks to our collaboration with Guidewheel and Kearney. 💡
On this tour, we had the chance to see Guidewheel and another partner of ours – Lightguide Systems – showcase their groundbreaking tech that’s driving real change in manufacturing.
The tour sparked some great conversations about future collaborations and highlighted Detroit’s role as a growing hub of innovation – a powerful reminder of how cross-industry partnerships can push manufacturing forward. ⤴
