For everyone who read my yesterday's post, here is a follow up question. Are there times when you think or feel like the Geranium? When you forget how amazing and beautiful you are? Brown Top millet is a fast growing warm season annual millet that can be harvested in under 2 months to produce heavy yields in optimal weather. With it being a shorter season maturity plant it can also reseed itself in around 60 days. That being said, Brown Top millet works great in a mix as well, filling in gaps where animals have grazed by dropping its seeds. Skeena steelhead are having a good year. What does that mean? Numbers are in from the Tyee Test Fishery: more than 33,000 summer-run steelhead have passed the lower Skeena—the 13th best return on record. Yet we’re just three years distant from the Skeena’s lowest steelhead returns on record—when just 5,400 steelhead passed the test fishery. “There can be a sense, with a strong year like this, that everything is fine again,” says Greg Knox, Executive Director of @SkeenaWild.Conservation. Sand Fish.....Amazing Creature..... Scincus scincus (sandfish) is a species of skink that burrows into the sand and swims through it. The sandfish is in fact a skink that slithers through loose sand so easily that it seems like it's swimming. This reptile is perfectly adapted to a desert life; it uses the sand not only to hide from dangerous predators, but also to detect the movement of prey common sandfish or common skink, is a species of skink notable for its burrowing or swimming behaviour in sand. It is native to the Sahara Desert and the Arabian Peninsula, but is also kept as a pet elsewhere. Holothuria scabra, or sandfish, is a species of sea cucumber in the family Holothuriidae. It was placed in the subgenus Metriatyla by Rowe in 1969 and is the type species of the subgenus.
