The intentional design of inclusive learning. #Variability, #UDL, #Diversity #Accessibility
I enjoyed this course immensely. I did find it a bit "stream of consciousness" as there didn't seem to be a structure to what was presented. I would have liked a set of related skills, an activity to try and then a practical assignment. There were some places where we were asked to do something (calendar) but rarely. After many of the videos I would do my own activity. For example, copy what was created or try to bring my own design aesthetic to the piece John made (Pet store sign). Finally, I found the multiple choice questions the antithesis of what the course was about - art/design not science/math. This typical way of "assessing" my understanding was disappointing. I realize that there are no instructors but I would have liked a final assignment to create from a "client". Again, I loved the content and delivery - calm, encouraging, friendly. John is an amazing designer with a real ability to teach. Thank you.
