Otelier is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Sales to drive our sales strategy and revenue growth in the U.S. market. As the VP of Sales, you will be responsible for understanding our journey and developing a comprehensive sales roadmap for your team. Your role will involve deep market engagement, product understanding, and driving accountability within our sales team. This is a critical leadership role, directly impacting the company's growth and market presence.
Responsibilities
- Execute on sales strategy for your team that aligns with Otelier’s vision and long-term goals.
- Lead and coach a diverse sales team, ensuring accountability, consistent team performance and driving revenue.
- Implement and execute strategies for deal reviews, optimizing sales cycles, and managing the pipeline effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn the market, products, and competitive landscape.
- Ensure the sales team is well-equipped with the necessary knowledge and tools.
- Deliver on team and company revenue growth goals and targets.
- Manage, optimize, train and develop team to ensure sales process adherence to close deals efficiently.
- Foster strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Work closely with marketing, product, sales enablement and other internal teams to support sales efforts and achieve company goals.
- Proven track record in SaaS software sales.
- Previous experience in a vertical market preferred.
- Strong experience in managing sales teams.
- Demonstrable previous sales team success through ability to lead, coach and develop a sales team.
- Ability to drive effective sales cycles and close deals.
- Experience with multi-line products and portfolio offerings. Ability to articulate and sell diverse value propositions to different market segments (e.g., SMB, mid-market).
- Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to execute comprehensive sales strategies.
- Hospitality/hotel operation experience preferred.
