Base pay range

$180,000.00/yr - $230,000.00/yr
Principal Duties:

  • Financial Management and Analysis: Oversee the detailed preparation and thorough analysis of financial documents, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow analyses. Deliver critical insights on financial outcomes, discrepancies, and patterns to inform executive-level strategy
  • Budgeting and Financial Planning: Spearhead the yearly budgeting cycle, engaging with leaders across departments to construct realistic financial plans. Regularly evaluate budgetary performance, providing continuous projections and updates to key stakeholders
  • Accounting Practices: Supervise daily accounting activities, such as managing payables, receivables, general ledger operations, and payroll. Guarantee adherence to all relevant accounting standards, regulations, and organizational policies
  • Regulatory Compliance and Internal Controls: Develop robust internal controls to protect organizational assets and ensure regulatory compliance. Oversee both internal and external audit processes, executing improvement actions based on audit findings
  • Leadership in Team Development: Direct a team of finance professionals, including accountants and financial clerks. Offer ongoing mentorship, training, and opportunities for professional growth to elevate team capabilities


Requirements

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related area. CPA qualification is highly desirable
  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years in accounting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of financial reporting, GAAP, and core accounting principles. Skilled in major accounting software and ERP solutions like QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite
  • Analytical Abilities: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, adept at interpreting complex financial data to provide strategic insights
  • Leadership Qualities: Outstanding leadership and communication abilities, capable of motivating and leading a diverse team
