In this role, you will work closely with members of Alphabet’s Regulatory Response, Investigations and Strategy (ARRIS) team, and act as the central project manager in partnership with ARRIS counsel, to coordinate how Google responds to internal investigations and inquiries made by regulatory agencies worldwide. You will partner with teams across Google and Alphabet’s Legal, Public Policy, Finance, and product areas to support the management of important issues for the company today. You will do this by centralizing coordination and governance, refining, designing, and enforcing process standards through project management support of individual matters, and build the enabling tools in partnership with Legal Operations and Engineering teams.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $105,000-$154,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of legal experience within a law firm or in-house legal department.
- 2 years of litigation experience with a law firm or in-house legal department.
- Experience supporting litigation, trials, or responding to regulatory inquiries.
- Process-oriented and highly organized with the ability to take on complex matters/cases and multiple stakeholders under tight deadlines (e.g., trial, hearing preparation, etc.).
- Ability to see the big picture and make connections across teams and issues, including excellent business judgment and strategic thinking.
- Ability to have proactive approach to anticipating issues and solving problems.
- Ability to be comfortable with ambiguity and managing through influence.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple timelines and projects.

Responsibilities
- Partner with legal counsel, product teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders to drive tasks, share information and implement project management principles upon our largest and most complex matters (e.g., litigation, internal investigations, and regulatory requests), including intake, assessment of tasks, tracking deadlines to aid in the investigation and execution of regulatory response, cross-functional stakeholder management, day-to-day operational support, and final submission approvals.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement initiatives and knowledge management projects and, where appropriate, help develop and socialize best practices.
- Identify bottlenecks and fielding escalations to stakeholders, and assist with providing internal recommendations.
- Facilitate large, global, and cross-functional working groups and influence a broad range of stakeholders including executives.
- Facilitate critical decision-making while also managing timelines.
