Action Plan to Increase Guest Review Scores

In this successful reputation management project, I researched ways for The Reach Key West to improve their guest review scores in order to write an actionable plan for the hotel team to understand and adopt.
The action plan was presented to resort stakeholders will full adoption of the techniques provided. Key points included timely outreach to guests by activating under-utilized technology already in place, implementing new in-person touch points, and post-stay communication. After…In this successful reputation management project, I researched ways for The Reach Key West to improve their guest review scores in order to write an actionable plan for the hotel team to understand and adopt.
The action plan was presented to resort stakeholders will full adoption of the techniques provided. Key points included timely outreach to guests by activating under-utilized technology already in place, implementing new in-person touch points, and post-stay communication. After implementation, results were swift. In 90 days, individual review scores improved by 80% and the aggregated review score online increased. The plan will remain implemented at The Reach Key West as it continues to improve the guest experience, and will become a standard at Casa Marina Key West as it reopens from renovation in October, 2023. -

Assisted in onboarding and training a brand new Hyatt associate in the Marketing Manager position at the Hyatt Regency Miami. Provided detailed training on the position's responsibilities, brand policies and procedures as well as orientation to Hyatt's corporate culture.
Attended key strategy meetings with internal teams and external teams to assist in developing mutually beneficial partnerships. Contributed creative ideas and strategies to help increase revenue. -
Public Relations Outreach for The Lazy River

As part of the transition of PR representation from agency to internal, I created an interactive media guide for the resort and The Lazy River. The guide contains quick facts on the resort, gorgeous photography, guest profiles, details available creative support, requests collaboration and provides important links to massive amount of information about the resort.

The goal of this project is to build and develop a qualified community on Facebook of people interested in visiting the resort for leisure or corporate business. Using a formula I developed along with promotion, carefully curated content and response to spontaneous events, I've successfully taken this community from 5000 friends to 100,000 friends in 16 months. Hyatt's page reached 100,000 likes on May 6, 2015 and continues to grow.
Closing out 2015 with more than…Update: 200k+ currently
The goal of this project is to build and develop a qualified community on Facebook of people interested in visiting the resort for leisure or corporate business. Using a formula I developed along with promotion, carefully curated content and response to spontaneous events, I've successfully taken this community from 5000 friends to 100,000 friends in 16 months. School Supply Drive for Lee County Public Schools Foundation

The associates at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa combined efforts with associates at the Hyatt Place Coconut Point Mall to collect 525 pounds of school supplies for the Lee County Foundation for Public Schools. During July and August, hotel associates, guests and the public were encouraged to drop off their school supply donations at the two Coconut Point Hyatt hotels, and the response far exceeded expectations.

The School Supply Drive was organized and lead by Patricia George, Marketing & PR Manager at the resort. Press releases were sent to local media and shared on Facebook along with a back-of-house poster campaign and word-of-mouth efforts from the sales team and HR. -
Press Trip for Travel Writers

Goal - to obtain original published content promoting the resort to travelers of different key demographics.
Researched and selected the top travel influencers for a press trip to Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort. Created a three-day activity schedule to showcase the finest points of the resort experience available to guests. Coordinated with internal and external teams to plan activities and itinerary. Escorted the writers during their experience. Prepared and distributed a press kit…Goal - to obtain original published content promoting the resort to travelers of different key demographics.
Researched and selected the top travel influencers for a press trip to Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort. Created a three-day activity schedule to showcase the finest points of the resort experience available to guests. Coordinated with internal and external teams to plan activities and itinerary. Escorted the writers during their experience. Prepared and distributed a press kit with relevant information and provided assistance after the trip to ensure writers had all of the information needed.

#GetSwabbed Blood Cancer Registration Drive

Worked with Delete Blood Cancer organization to coordinate and execute a bone marrow registration drive in support of a colleague whose child is stricken with blood cancer. More than 70 Hyatt Hotels participated in the event. My role was to participate in the organization of our local drive, create publicity and coordinate with reporters and local media for on-site coverage, live remote, and interviews with our General Manager.
