It's all about our people. Developing them, cherishing them, supporting them. Kristy is just one example of the type of longevity we prioritize when it comes to our employees. Thank you for everything you do, Kristy!
Meet Kristy Montoya, an outstanding employee who has been with us since 2014, way back when she had a funkier hairstyle. You'll have to take our word for it though, since we've been sworn not to post her very first headshot. Bright eyed and bushy tailed, Kristy began her career at WCG as a customer care agent and she very quickly became known for her customer service skills and her ability to connect with clients, if you've met Kristy, then you know exactly what we mean. With an infectious smile and an unrivaled devotion to problem solving, it's no wonder she changes the lives of everyone she meets. After honing her skills at WCG, she decided to broaden her horizons and moved to another family business, our subsidiary Kayman Direct, where she continued to work in customer care for two years. While we missed her so, this experience not only allowed her to refine her expertise but also exposed her to new challenges and growth opportunities in a different environment. In 2016 Kristy returned with the same tenacity and joy for the job. Her hard work and commitment were recognized, and she was promoted to Manager of the Customer Care team. In this role, Kristy thrived, and we all began to see that she had a true talent for leadership (spoiler alert: she still does!). She successfully led her team, driving growth and ensuring exceptional customer service, while shaping her employees to follow in her footsteps. To put it short: they cared because she cared. She remained in this role until 2021 when, to no one's surprise, her work ethic led to her promotion to Assistant Service Manager, where she was instrumental in streamlining service processes and, as always, enhancing customer satisfaction. And that brings us to the present, where we are delighted to announce that Kristy has been promoted once again, this time to the position of Service Manager. This role marks a new chapter in her career, one that she has been working towards and is excited to embrace. She's passionate about leveraging this opportunity to elevate the customer service experience at WCG in ways that haven’t been explored before. She is particularly excited about expanding the service department to reach more customers, especially through the growth of the Mobile Service department. Her vision includes not just serving customers more effectively, but also fostering a supportive and growth-oriented environment for her team. Kristy is committed to innovating and expanding the service offerings, and she leads her team with the same care and trust she always has. With her forward-thinking mindset and her deep-rooted passion for customer service, Kristy aims to drive growth and set new standards for excellence in her new role as Service Manager. What else can we say? She's incredible, and we're lucky to have her. Kristy, if you're reading this, thank you for everything. ❤️

Yippee Ki Yoder! 🤠 At the end of June, we gathered for our annual all-employee Cornerstone event at The Greeley Stampede. This celebration is our way of showing gratitude to our dedicated employees who show up and give their best every single day. We had a fantastic time enjoying the rodeo, eating some delicous barbecue from Georgia Boys, and some lucky employees even took home some amazing giveaways. We truly are fortunate. Across all our companies, our employees are hardworking, kind-hearted individuals who prioritize our customers in every possible way. Here's to our incredible staff—we can't wait to celebrate together again at next year's Cornerstone event!

This month, Yoder Chevrolet's GM Daniel Held decided to partner with NOCO Humane. We couldn't be prouder of our leadership team for constantly finding ways to support and benefit our community. Daniel is donating $100 with each car sold, which means EVERY vehicle purchase is directly benefiting NoCo Humane and the animals they care for. This partnership means so much to us as a company. We set out to change lives, make a difference, and create a culture that separates us apart from your typical car dealership. At Yoder Chevy, community means everything. Thank you so much to NOCO Humane for having us and to Daniel Held for getting this off the ground. Be sure to check out our featured blog content! https://bit.ly/4cwCALv

We're incredibly excited to announce this great new benefit to our Yoder Family! We understand that working parents face the critical challenge of finding accessible and affordable childcare. Recognizing this need, Yoder Family of Companies is stepping forward to open an early childhood education facility available to all employees of the Yoder Family of Companies. The child care will be at a reduced cost from standard ECEC’s and a percentage of the cost for employees will be covered by Weld Family Cares. This ambitious project is the result of a regional collaborative effort, supported by the State of Colorado, Aims Community College, United Way of Weld County , and Weld County Workforce Services. This facility will be led by Maria Martin who has worked in early childhood eduction for 13 years and a bachelors in Human Development and Family Studies. The ECEC will be located at 4754 W 31st Street, this facility will be accessible to the employees of all 10 companies within the Yoder Family of Companies and a couple other companies we’re partnering with.
