This continuing education program for dental hygienists will review the clinical fundamentals of malocclusion and its implications on overall oral health with emphasis on the dental hygiene oral examination, providing dental hygienists with a confident understanding of the value of proper tooth alignment and how patients’ occlusion directly relates to the health and longevity of the teeth and periodontium.
