Throughout the month of October, team members across Wayne-Sanderson Farms have proudly worn pink in support of #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth! By embracing our core values of stewardship and respect for others, our team has come together to support coworkers currently battling breast cancer, celebrate survivors, and raise awareness. Last week, Wayne-Sanderson Farms' McComb, Mississippi complex hosted its inaugural Employee Appreciation Week, celebrating the contributions of our amazing team members! Throughout the week, employees enjoyed themed days filled with activities such as games, a corn hole tournament, bingo, karaoke, pizza, and numerous prizes. This event provided a wonderful opportunity to recognize our team’s hard work while fostering camaraderie and building community! #MakingChickenAmazing

Team members across Wayne-Sanderson Farms recently came together to support the communities affected by Hurricane Milton in Florida through the donation and distribution of 22 truckloads of ice, totaling about 860,681 pounds of ice. This ice was distributed across several majorly impacted areas of Florida at Walmart and Winn-Dixie stores, providing much-needed relief to those in need. We'd like to extend our thanks to our team and all involved in this effort for their dedication, seamless coordination, and hard work both behind the scenes and on-site. Your commitment to living out our core value of stewardship has truly made a difference for those impacted by the storm! This coordinated effort was led by our Sales and Logistics teams, with essential contributions made from the following Wayne-Sanderson Farms complexes: Albertville, AL; Brazos, TX; Collins, MS; Dobson, AL; Dothan, AL; Enterprise, AL; Hazlehurst, MS; Kinston, NC; Laurel, MS; McComb, MS; Moultrie, GA; Palestine, TX; Pendergrass, GA; St. Pauls, NC; Tyler, TX; and Waco, TX. #MakingChickenAmazing

Wayne-Sanderson Farms announced today that Clint Rivers will be retiring from his role as President and Chief Executive Officer at the end of the company’s fiscal year on March 31, 2025. He will continue to serve as Executive Chairman of the Board for Wayne-Sanderson Farms’ upcoming 2026 fiscal year. Chief Operating Officer, Kevin McDaniel, has been named as successor and will assume the role on April 1, 2025. Wayne-Sanderson Farms extends our gratitude to everyone who contributed to our Dobson, North Carolina complex’s Hurricane Helene relief efforts! Thanks to the generosity of our team members and the local community, we successfully filled an entire truck with essential supplies, which were delivered to the hard-hit areas of Spruce Pine and Burnsville, NC. Along with 8,200 lbs. of donated chicken product, these supplies are being distributed by first responders and local churches to provide crucial support to those affected by the storm. Our team provided refrigerated trailers to transport product donated to The Cindy Platt Boys & Girls Club of Transylvania County.
