We honor you for all the great work you have done in our business community and the inspiration you have provided to all future leaders in Buffalo. • When you enter the world of Medicare it’s easy to get overwhelmed and it would be helpful to have a trusted advisor to guide you through the process. We’re here to set the record straight on the myths vs. facts when it comes to working with a Medicare Consultant and the benefits you can expect when you engage with the knowledgeable Medicare team at Walsh Duffield.

  • Congratulations to Demi Walsh, who was just installed as the President of the Board for the Salvation Army, Buffalo Area Services. We know that together you will do great things in our community!

Yesterday, I became President of the Board of the Salvation Army in Buffalo, NY. I have been involved with this wonderful organization for over 9 years. This is a very exciting time for TSA in Buffalo, as they are building a new family homeless shelter and affordable housing on Main Street in downtown Buffalo. We are also constructing a brand new community center on the East side of town. Regardless of your age, gender, sexual orientation or belief system, the doors of TSA are open to all. Programs such as Emergency Family Shelter, Food Pantry, After School and summer programs for children, Employment Services, Disaster Relief and more help tens of thousands of people in our community each year.  I encourage everyone to get involved in your community and help make a difference. Together, we can create a better life for our children and those around us.  If you’re interested in getting involved in any way, please feel free to reach out to me anytime!

  • The Walsh Duffield Change Agents have been working hard this week to wrap up the summer with two community projects! We had a team who cleaned and furnished an apartment on Buffalo’s west side for an incoming Somalian refugee family as part of Journey's End Refugee Services, Inc.’s “Home Again” program. Many Walsh employees generously donated items to make this project a reality for this deserving family. A second group of volunteers worked on "Beds for Buffalo" cutting, sanding, and prepping beds for local children who do not currently have their own beds. We are always proud when we can help make a difference in our community!
