In 2007, Vinventions launched an international research consortium on oxygen management in wine, collaborating with institutions like UC Davis, INRA, Universidad Católica de Chile, Geisenheim Institute and the Australian Wine Research Institute. Vinventions deepened the industry’s understanding of oxygen’s influence on wine aging and development. By 2009, this led to the development of the NomaSense O2 analyzer, enabling winemakers to control oxygen levels to optimize wine quality and shelf-life. Our third generation of the NomaSense O2 analyzer, specially designed for producers and bottlers, is now available! 🎉 This technological gem accurately measures dissolved oxygen, oxygen in the headspace, and calculates TPO (Total Package Oxygen), allowing optimal control at every stage of the process. Minimizing oxygen exposure at bottling is crucial to avoid premature oxidation. Random oxygen exposure can also cause significant variations among bottles. The hundreds of audits we've conducted over years on various equipment types and sizes have demonstrated the challenges wineries and bottling companies face in managing this process. If you would like to see this technology in action, please reach out for a complimentary demo at your California facility. dbrodowsky@vinventions.com #Vinventions #O2management #NomaSenseO2

🎥 We are proud to share the report produced by the channel RSI (Swiss Broadcasting Corporation) at one of our clients, the Tamborini Carlo SA winery, and broadcast as part of the program Il Quotidiano. Luca Biffi, Technical Director of the Tamborini Carlo SA winery, is interviewed and explains how he uses our decision-support tool Polyscan. Since 2020, Polyscan has been employed to optimize the vinification of red wines as well as Blanc de Noirs wines. 🍇 In this interview, Luca Biffi details how Polyscan allows him to monitor polyphenol extractions during the vinification of Merlot and assists him in his technical decisions, a major asset for enological precision (around minute 28’). "The tool helps us determine when to stop maceration, to offer consumers a red wine in line with their expectations." 🤝 We are also delighted with our numerous technical exchanges with him and his team over the past five years, which is at the heart of our commitment to helping our clients achieve their goals. Many thanks to Luca for his trust and for allowing us to make our humble contribution to the magnificent wines crafted year after year! #Enology #Polyscan #Innovation #SwissWine #PrecisionisEmotion

In 1986, Phil and Carol Baily opened a small winery in Temecula Valley with the goal of producing 'Old World Style' wines that could stand with the best wines in California. The decisions the Baily's made along the way were intentional and of the highest quality. After using natural cork for many years, the Baily's discovered Nomacorc and have never looked back. Included in their literature that all guests receive at the winery or through their club is a mention of why they made this decision. We couldn't have said it better ourselves. Thank you to Phil and Carol for their unwavering trust in Nomacorc and their support of what we do. #bailyvineyard&winery #vinventions #nomacorc #sustainability
