So many of you have been with us from the beginning, and we wanted you to see all the love, sweat, and tears that have brought us to this moment. But while we celebrate this milestone, our work is far from over. Thousands in Austin still face homelessness, and too many are falling through the cracks. There are many exciting things coming, but in order for TOOF to continue to provide pathways to stability for Austn’s unhoused, your support – right now- is critical. We’re aiming to raise $3M by the end of the year to keep transforming lives. Head to toofound.org to give right now. We can’t do this next phase without YOU. Help us to keep building Esperanza – keep building hope

Dear TOOF Community, After many incredible years with The Other Ones Foundation, we are both proud and saddened to announce the retirement of David Gomez, one of our founding Board Members. David has been an integral part of TOOF’s growth and success, helping to shape the values we live by today—respect, dignity, and second chances for all. His dedication to uplifting Austin’s unhoused community has left a lasting legacy that will continue to guide our work. As David steps into this new chapter, we celebrate his extraordinary contributions and the positive impact he’s had on countless lives. Please join us in thanking David for his years of leadership and service, and in wishing him the best as he embarks on a well-earned retirement. While he’ll be missed, his influence will forever remain at TOOF. With gratitude, The TOOF Team

We need your help! The City of Austin is starting its budget adoption process this week, and unfortunately, the shelter operations at Esperanza Community aren't currently prioritized. But with your support and some creativity from City Hall, we can change that. Please take action by reaching out to city leadership, letting them know you support Esperanza, and visiting toofound.org to hit that donate button. No matter what, we'll continue serving this community—with or without the city's support. Let's make sure it's with. 💪
