Forty-five years ago, Glen Teter founded a structural engineering firm in Visalia. Through his steadfast vision, TETER has transformed from a one-man operation into a company with five offices and almost 150 employee owners. We take pride in offering a diverse range of services, covering master planning, architectural design, and engineering (MEPS). As TETER, Inc. commemorates its 45th year in business, we express sincere appreciation to our visionary founder for his fearless leadership. Happy 45th anniversary, Glen! #TETER #Founder #TETERAnniversary

BUILDING A BETTER VALLEY®
About us
We’re Building a Better Valley—One Project, One Client Relationship, and One Employee at a Time Building a better Valley isn’t just a slogan. For us, it’s personal. We are architects and engineers who live, work, play, and raise our families in the Central Valley—the ultimate reason to make it a fantastic place for everyone. DEEP ROOTS IN OUR COMMUNITIES For four decades, TETER has developed long-lasting relationships with our clients and each other, building a firm with a broad reach and a deep understanding of Central California. Our architects and engineers work together under the same roof to create a seamless, efficient design process for clients. OUR VALUES INFORM OUR WORK We always bring extra value to a project. Our commitment to our clients involves listening to their needs, understanding where those needs come from, and helping them sort through possibilities to reach the best solution for their project. And it’s usually not just theirs. It could be a building where our children will go to school, where a friend might work, or where a loved one might get medical care. We’re all connected. ALWAYS PART OF A TEAM There are no starchitects or kingeneers at TETER. We are a large group of talented individuals who know that the whole is better than the sum of its parts. That whole includes our clients and the entire design and engineering group—working together, we can take a project farther than it could go with any individual. (Not to mention it’s a lot more fun to be part of a team.) Join our team or let us join yours. We can all contribute to building a better Valley.

We're excited to share a unique feature that TETER was a part of! Watch this mini-documentary, produced by The American Institute of Architects (AIA) San Joaquin Chapter in collaboration with Valley PBS, highlighting architecture in the San Joaquin Valley. This video features the incredible projects by local architects for the 2024 Design Awards Program. We’re honored to have our design for the University Center at College of the Sequoias included (starting at 4:58) in the mini-doc. At TETER, we believe in the power of thoughtful design to positively impact our communities, organizations, and environment. Together with our fellow architects, we raise the bar and inspire others through innovative design. #TETEREducation #AIASJDesignAwards #BuildingABetterValley https://lnkd.in/gRnjrz_v

Francine Velasco, President of AIAS Fresno State, recently led a tour of our HQ. Architectural Studies students gained insight into working in a professional design firm. As both a student and an intern, I've seen how vital it is for students to connect with professionals in the field, especially those of different roles and disciplines. Leading the tour of TETER's office was an excellent opportunity to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world application. I hope this experience rewards students with fresh perspectives towards a successful architectural career. - Francine Velasco, TETER Architectural Intern #TETEREvents #TETERArchitects #BuildingaBetterValley

Happy International School Library Day! 📚✨ Today, we praise the incredible role libraries play in shaping young minds and nurturing a love of learning. Libraries are the heart of education, and at Janet Young Elementary School, their library is more than just a room filled with books—it's a gateway to imagination, discovery, and lifelong curiosity. A huge thank you to all the librarians and educators who work tirelessly to create these spaces where students can grow, explore, and dream big. Let's continue to support and cherish our school libraries! #TETEREducation #SchoolLibrary #Clovis
