📢 Breaking News 📢 Today, the Biden-Harris Administration announced an additional $4.5 billion in student loan forgiveness for 60,000 public service workers. This brings the total student debt relief to more than $175 billion for over 4.8 million Americans, including $74 billion in relief for one million borrowers through the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program. Based on the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s estimate that 11 million people (25% of borrowers) qualify for PSLF, today’s milestone of one million borrowers receiving forgiveness is significant, but it only represents 9% of the program's full potential. That’s where Summer comes in. We’re helping employers and their teams navigate the benefits of PSLF by ensuring employees are aware of the program, accurately completing the necessary forms, and successfully working toward their loan forgiveness after 120 qualifying payments.
