The Earth was made to thrive in natural harmony, like music — or poetry. But we have taken too much for too long, and now we've fallen out of rhythm. We need bold solutions today if we hope to sustain Earth's fragile balance tomorrow. That's why we've composed a strategy to help restore harmony between human and nature. We're proud to announce the publication of POET's inaugural sustainability report, available at poet.com/sustainability.

For almost 40 years, we've been changing the world through sustainable, plant-based biofuels & bioproducts.
About us
At POET, we are changing the world for the better while leaving a legacy that promotes health and sustainability through renewable biofuels and bioproducts. We believe in creativity from common sense. We believe the solution to our nation's growing energy crises is not some far-flung work of science fiction. It's the domestic energy we're producing today. The people of POET are currently replacing millions of barrels of imported oil every year with clean, renewable energy, all while pumping billions of dollars back into the American economy. In our three-plus decades on the job, POET has developed an unmatched record in technology, reliability, and efficiency. That's a legacy we intend to pass on. And every day we keep building on it. Today, we have a network of 34 plants in eight states and produce more than 3 billion gallons of biofuels annually. More important than volume is the efficiency with which we produce our products. POET provides turnkey development, design, engineering, construction, management and marketing services for our plant network. Our facilities are the most successful and profitable in the industry. Our technologies were developed and refined through years of hard work and collaboration with leaders in clean technology, biochemistry and animal nutrition. As a result, we reap more value from a bushel of corn than anyone. In addition to biofuels, we've perfected the leading brand of premium dried distillers grains with solubles on the market, Dakota Gold®.

In the 80's, Lowell Broin's bold idea to use the corn on the farm to make fuel — which some neighbors said was "crazy" — was the first step in what has become the largest biofuel company in the world. Today, POET uses one billion bushels of corn annually to produce three billion gallons of bioethanol, impacting the world every day. 🌽 Read more about Jeff Broin's testament to his humble, hardworking father, Lowell Broin, in the latest issue of Vital: https://bit.ly/3B36pWr.

Higher blends of bioethanol mean more power and lower harmful emissions. It is an all-around better fuel than traditional gasoline. 💪🏻 Read more about how bioethanol helps fuel a brighter tomorrow, one gallon at a time, in the latest issue of Vital: https://bit.ly/3MIUaAM.

"The fall season is arguably the most chaotic of them all, stepping into a constant chase of finding the best color with the prettiest views. So much time during the fall is spent taking scenic drives to scout and shoot, and that’s why I’m proud to have teamed up with @poetbiofuels in an effort to choose E15, a 15% plant-based bioethanol blend when I fuel up during my travels this fall season. By choosing to use cleaner gas at the pump, we are making a conscious effort to keep our environment clean for many autumn seasons to come. Join me in #farmingourbiofuture and save at the pump using E15 🙌🏼" 📷: IG/@austinpedersen__
