Brain dump - Buddy - Book. An opportunity for retrieval practice in a lesson. Step 1 students recall information from long term memory about the topic & fill in the first column. Step 2 involves students talking to their partner or peers, to collect any additional information for the second column. The final step involves learners using their class book, textbook or knowledge organiser to self assess (checking & correcting their work) and adding any further relevant information.
