  • On behalf of Carol's Daughter and their program, we’re excited to announce two new installments of the 'Love Delivered' Black Maternal Health Advocacy Training videos, produced by Mama Glow! These videos below, launched on October 5, 2024, empower individuals and professionals to advocate for maternal health equity, featuring insights from experts in OB/GYN, midwifery, public health, and policy. The first two videos highlight expertise from Latham Thomas, Founder of Mama Glow, and Mia Keeys, a public health researcher and one of our very own 40 Under 40 Alum and Advisory Board members. We’re thrilled to see Mia’s impactful work with Carol’s Daughter and Mama Glow unfold. At NMQF, we proudly support maternal health and doulas. In 2025, we will focus even more on Black maternal health partnerships and opportunities. Now in its fourth year, Love Delivered, in partnership with CVS Health and Mama Glow Foundation, continues its mission to address Black maternal health disparities, providing doula services in cities like NYC, Miami, LA, Atlanta, NOLA, and DC. • If you haven’t already, we encourage you to listen to the Gerontological Society of America’s latest podcast on ensuring older adults have access to age-appropriate vaccines. This comes ahead of this week’s CDC Advisory on Immunization Practices (ACIP) meeting, which starts today, where the committee is expected to vote on lowering the age-based recommendation for the pneumonia vaccine to age 50 and older. This policy change would go along way to simplify and broaden access to those most vulnerable to respiratory disease. Click here to learn more! https://bit.ly/3UjCxvI
