Last night, pianist Alexander Malofeev, conductor Xian Zhang, the New World Symphony, and the Master Chorale of South Florida delivered a breathtaking performance at the Adrienne Arsht Center!Audiences were captivated as the New World Symphony transported them through Wagner’s Tristan und Isolde, bringing to life the haunting, revolutionary “Tristan” chord that forever changed the world of music. We’re thrilled to announce that trustee Judith Rodin has made a $1 million gift to establish The Judith Rodin Fellowship for an Outstanding Woman Musician. The named fellowship will rotate, recognizing one female Fellow each season, who is pursuing an orchestral position where women are disproportionately underrepresented. As the first recipient, NWS Conducting Fellow Molly Turner is already making waves in her second season with NWS and her first as a Dudamel Fellow with the LA Phil!
