Today is #WorldMentalHealthDay and the 2024 theme focuses on mental health at work, which is a crucial issue for employers. According to a 2024 Monster poll, 74% of respondents said their mental health at work is poor or fair. A recent Forbes article shared five ways employers can help prioritize mental well-being in the workplace. 👉 Encourage open two-way communication on mental health.   👉 Offer mental health education and training to employees.  👉 Incorporate nature into the workplace through design elements like natural light and company-sponsored outdoor activities.  👉 Create a psychologically safe work environment where ideas can be shared freely. 👉 Develop workload management strategies to reduce burnout. September 15 – October 15 marks Hispanic Heritage Month, a time to celebrate the history and contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities. The US #workforce includes more than 30 million Hispanic and Latino adults, and it’s projected to reach 35 million by 2030.
