The National Association for Healthcare Quality has designated Healthcare Quality Week to raise awareness about the importance of quality healthcare services and the ongoing efforts to improve patient outcomes. In addition to honoring Kathy and Amber of our Quality Department, we recognize all MRHS employees who work daily to ensure patients receive the best quality healthcare possible!

This award honors the legacy of the late Larry Veitz while recognizing an individual for their exemplary service to healthcare. “I’m humbled and grateful to receive this award. Madison Regional Health System has named Teresa Mallett, MHA, as its next Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Tammy Miller, who will retire at the end of this year. Teresa has been a vital part of MRHS since 2001, most recently serving as the Chief Financial Officer. She brings a wealth of experience and is passionate about providing quality healthcare to the community. Teresa states, "I am honored to be selected as the next CEO of Madison Regional Health System. I am excited and energized by what the future holds for MRHS. Madison Regional Health System has been a long-standing pillar in the community, providing quality healthcare close to home.
