This past weekend, Paul Ridlen, the president of Knight Piesold USA, shared insights on the importance of effective governance to support tailings dam safety.   Paul was invited to speak at the first conference of the Congolese Committee on Large Dams, a member of the International Commission on Large Dams (ICOLD). Paul is a member of the USSD Tailings Dams Committee and the ICOLD Committee on Tailings Dams and Waste Lagoons. Congrats to the Committee on a successful first conference!
