As we approach the end of our first year as a Lozier Certified Provider, KC Store Fixtures is eagerly moving forward with modifications to our 203,000 sq. ft. Omaha warehouse. Areas that no longer serve a purpose are being removed, new racks are going up and more space is being created with the removal of underutilized spaces. Additional lighting has been added throughout the building, special workstations for packing created, and WMS implementation is on the horizon. These improvements are just one step along the way in our vision to provide even more efficiency, expanded inventory and the best customer satisfaction. Centrally located in the United States means we can ship quickly anywhere in the U.S. in just days. Our distribution center is conveniently located 2-1/2 miles from Lozier’s Omaha manufacturing plant; this proximity means quicker replenishment and restocking and less time waiting on LTL shipments. Our September employee of the month is Becky Dean, Sales Manager extraordinaire!    Becky is an integral part of our sales team. She guides her team in the many facets of sales, including online orders, custom design requests, Lozier Certified Partner program and customer service. She is a hands-on style manager and is often submerged in learning new products, software, and processes to better understand the customers experience from first click to delivery.   During a recent WMS launch, Becky oversaw improvements and implementation for the sales team including customer navigation with minor changes that accompanied the launch. She approached each challenge with a positive, solution-focused mindset and collaborated closely with the sales team and the warehouse team to address issues swiftly, while also delivering great customer service. Becky kept everyone informed with updates and best practices. Her proactive attitude streamlined the implementation, helped boost efficiency, and strengthened the whole team.   Becky will celebrate three years with KC Store Fixtures in February and the time has flown by, her upbeat demeanor and sense of humor keeps everyone smiling. Say hello to David Dean, our newest Design team member. David brings several years of experience as a designer / drafter working with production drawings for manufacturing, collaborating with engineers on site plans, and elevation drawings while providing support to sales teams and vendors. His experience with a long list of software applications including AutoCAD, Creo, Autodesk Inventor make him an ideal addition to our in-house team of designers. Congratulations to Julian, our August Employee of the Month!   Julian is part of our warehouse team and serves in a variety of roles. From filling online orders and receiving new product shipments to assisting customers who need help to load their vehicles after visiting our showroom, he is an integral part of our team.   In July we began working on the implementation of WMS software which meant learning new processes for our warehouse team. Julian’s initiative to learn as much as possible prior to the launch did not go unnoticed. He learned quickly and helped train other users, he was eager to learn each phase of the new process from receiving to shipping, worked overtime as needed and did all of it with a great attitude.   Julian likes to about talk about music and sports and is an avid Raiders fan, like his father, who also works at KC Store Fixtures. He is quick with a smile and a hello and is always willing to help customers and coworkers alike.   In August Julian celebrated his first anniversary with KC Store Fixtures and we look forward to celebrating many more. Congratulations Trey Hulse, our July Employee of the Month! Trey is our Jr. Web Developer and after only five months with KC Store Fixtures, he has grown and excelled in several areas. Starting his career with KC Store Fixtures as an e-commerce specialist, he focused on growth with third-party partners. After three months, it became clear he had a gift for seeing the potential to rewrite how daily functions could be improved. This insight and logic took Trey from E-commerce Specialist to Jr. Web Developer. He has been an invaluable asset to the company in a very short time and we are excited to have him on our team. Effective July 12th, Kalei was promoted to Jr. Accountant. Kalei’s knowledge and dedication in the accounts receivable role has provided valuable insight and opportunities to utilize her skills and proficiency. In addition to processing and billing customers, applying ACH payments, managing past due accounts, and issuing credit memos, Kalei will manage cashflow and account reconciliation.     Effective July 22nd, Tanner H. was promoted to Lead Designer. Tanner has been part of our Design Center team since 2022 creating CAD drawings and working with clients on custom projects manufactured both in house and abroad. As part of his role, he is responsible for establishing and maintaining design standards, creating guidelines and procedures, scheduling and coordinating workflow, and reviewing projects created within the team.   Congratulations to Kalei and Tanner! #kcstorefixtures

History, Expansion, and 30 Years of Fixtures.   Starting in the basement of the founders’ home, KC Fixtures & Display was created in June 1994. After gradually building his customer base, and seeing the need for expansion, the business was moved to the historic Garment District in downtown Kansas City, MO.   In 1996, KC Store Fixtures became a pioneer in the internet revolution and by year 2000, record-breaking revenues led the company to concentrate on e-commerce and catalog sales by providing online tools that would help customers and store operations teams work faster and easier.   In 2000, the business was moved to a new location allowed provide ample room to combine the downtown showroom, warehouse, and manufacturing under one roof. The new address offered easy access to major highways and room to grow. Not long after this move, the company name was shortened to KC Store Fixtures; the emphasis was now on our core business.   As of 2023 we are a Lozier Certified Provider offering gondola, more commonly known as retail display shelving. The addition was a natural addition to our product offerings and the customer we serve.   In 2024, we expanded by adding another warehouse in Omaha, NE. The proximity to our Kansas City facility, and its central location to the United States provides easy shipping from coast-to-coast and points in between.     As KC Store Fixtures celebrates 30 years in business, we continue to meet the changing horizon of the retail fixture world we serve. What was once strictly fixtures and displays, has now evolved to include design, value-engineering, manufacturing, store planning, and custom manufacturing to benefit customers in a variety of industries. We look forward to the future and another 30 years building on our core principle of providing exceptional customer service, superior product selection and reasonable prices.
