This Halloween, the IAC Anniston Employee Engagement Team brought the spirit of giving to life with a Halloween Blood Drive and Bake Sale. Over 50 employees joined in, rolling up their sleeves to donate blood—each donation capable of saving up to three lives! The bake sale was a sweet success, with all proceeds benefiting Second Chance Charity, which provides holiday gifts for those in need within the community. The festivities also included a lively Halloween costume contest, showcasing the creativity of our team. Prizes were awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, making the day even more enjoyable. Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to this impactful event. Your efforts truly embody our commitment to community and camaraderie at IAC!

This October, IAC facilities across the United States joined forces for a worthy cause: Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Our dedicated teams rallied together to raise donations for the Susan G. Komen Foundation, which is committed to addressing breast cancer through research, community health initiatives, and public policy advocacy. We’re thrilled to announce that IAC Group has generously matched the amounts raised by our employees, doubling our impact! In addition to fundraising, our teams also showed their support by “pinking out” their facilities. From creative events to educational activities, employees engaged in unique ways to learn about breast cancer and stand in solidarity with those affected. Thank You, Team IAC! A heartfelt thank you to everyone at IAC for your commitment and generosity. Your efforts raise awareness and provide essential resources for those in need. As One Team, IAC is making a meaningful difference in our communities!

Employees from IAC Group in Hrušky recently showcased their teamwork and competitive spirit at the 10th Mazácké Dragon Boat Race in Hodonín, Czech Republic. Competing against 11 local teams, IAC's diverse crew of 29 employees (including substitutes) made their debut in this thrilling water sport. The team achieved an impressive second place in the C Final, demonstrating both determination and speed throughout the competition. Dragon boating involves teams paddling in large, ornately decorated boats, synchronized to the rhythm of a drummer and guided by a professional steer. Lenka Káčerková, a member of the team, reflected on the experience: “For us, Dragon Boat Racing was not just about results, but also about teamwork, determination, and a sense of camaraderie. We are proud of our performance and are already looking forward to next year's event where we hope to push our boat to first place!” With excitement building for next season, Team IAC Hrušky aims to engage even more employees, with hopes of forming two teams for a stronger showing in the future. #OneTeamIAC

As we celebrate National Manufacturing Day, we're taking a moment to spotlight one of our longstanding team members and industry veterans, Todd Hayes. With over 26 years of experience in manufacturing, Todd has witnessed firsthand the industry's evolution and has played a pivotal role in driving our facility's success. Todd's career in manufacturing began on the production line, evolving through roles in material handling, warehouse driving, and mold technician. This foundation led him to the Supply Chain Group, where he advanced from scheduler to Supply Chain Manager, gaining insights into manufacturing logistics and operations. Now, as General Manager of the Alma Facility, Todd ensures efficient production, quality control, and high employee satisfaction. We are grateful for the contributions of individuals like Todd who have helped to shape the industry and drive our company's success. Their commitment to excellence, innovation, and sustainability serves as an inspiration to us all.

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) recognized IAC Group for its energy savings goal as a partner in the Better Plants Challenge. IAC Group has achieved energy savings of 25% through greater energy efficiency efforts across its US-based portfolio. “These industry leaders are demonstrating that decarbonization is not only possible – it’s happening now and it’s good business,” said DOE Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Jeff Marootian. The Challenge set out to reduce energy usage by 25% over ten years; IAC achieved this target reduction in just five years. Plants focused on low-cost projects and continuous improvement methodologies to implement energy savings. Tom Boney, NA COO, noted, “It has been a long-term vision and effort by the entire team. Achieving this milestone is an important step for our long-term success and we look forward to working closely with the DOE in the future.” We are especially excited that this recognition came in time for the 8th annual #NationalCleanEnergyWeek. #NCEW24

Continuous Improvement, or “kaizen,” is part of our culture at IAC. One of the great things about continuous improvement is that it empowers all of us to make lasting, real changes that help our co-workers, our company and ultimately, our customers. Our Saltillo, Mexico, facility embodies this philosophy wholeheartedly. We reinforce and promote continuous improvement by recognizing great employee recommendations through our “Ideas Program.” Employees submit ideas that have a positive impact on safety, cost, moral, quality and productivity. Anybody can submit these and we go out of our way to recognize these contributions. Earlier this year, we celebrated 13 winners and their ideas at an Ideas Program Recognition Event for both our staff and production personnel. We want to reinforce creative thinking, problem solving and help everyone recognize that individual initiative can make a big difference. We congratulate our 13 winners and those submitting great ideas everywhere.
