The word "Diwali" translates to “a row of lights.” Many Indians celebrate the festival using sparklers or fireworks. Charity Spotlight! A massive shoutout to the incredible Ursula Small for conquering the Irish Life Dublin Marathon & Race Series this weekend! This amazing event partners with over 50 Irish and international charities, and the spirit of support is truly inspiring. Ursula and her husband took on this challenge in memory of a dear family friend to raise vital funds for the Kevin Bell Reparation Trust, an organization dedicated to helping bereaved families repatriate their loved ones' bodies back to Ireland after sudden deaths abroad. Ursula’s dedication and hard work have blown us away. The Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF) hosted its “Month of Giving" for October. IICF's Month of Giving brings together insurance professionals to volunteer and serve the communities in which we live. On October 23, a small group of GBLI employees participated in the Month of Giving by volunteering at MANNA. This Philadelphia-based organization provides medically tailored meals to people with serious illnesses. We had a great time preparing meals for this important cause! #TeamGBLI #Volunteering

Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated every year from September 15 to October 15. The month-long celebration commemorates the independence days of Latin American countries. It honors the rich history, culture, and contributions of Hispanic Americans, with a special focus on those from the Caribbean, Central, and South America.
