FMC Ice Sports would like to send our condolences to the Struppa family on the loss of their son, Giuseppe. In the words Seppe’s Jr. Crusaders hockey family “Let’s all strive to live a little more like him — kinder, more patient, and carrying his gentle spirit with us every day. He touched so many lives with his presence, and we can honor him by spreading that same love and warmth to others." 💜 🖤 https://lnkd.in/eASwTXiM

As my internship with FMC Ice Sports has come to its conclusion, I can say I am filled with gratitude for the incredible experience I had this summer. Capturing moments of athletes, families, friends, and more on and off the ice brought me a lot of happiness. It was rewarding to see people enjoying the sport I grew up loving, and it felt great to be a part of those special moments. Having the chance to really work on my photography skills, refine my techniques, and learn new ways to capture the energy and emotion of each event was a great learning and practical hands-on experience. A special thank you to Courtney Mottau and Gage Levasseur for their guidance throughout my time with FMC, as well as for giving me the chance to work for a great organization! As I look ahead to my final semester of undergraduate studies, I’m excited to finish my time in the UConn Sport Management program and continue working with UConn Creative. The blend of academic learning and hands-on experience has been incredibly rewarding over the past three years. I’m eager to apply everything I’ve learned with FMC to my work at UConn Creative and bring fresh ideas to my projects. It’s a great way to cap off my time at UConn, and I’m looking forward to the challenges and opportunities ahead as I prepare for the next chapter of my career!
