Last weekend, members of the Evernorth Care Group team joined NAMI to promote mental health awareness and reduce stigma. NAMIWalks Valley of the Sun is a yearly fundraiser that helps fund the organization’s free, top-rated mental health programs and builds community to let people know they are not alone. Thanks to everyone who walked!

Mayra Flores Mendez has been a medical assistant with Evernorth Sun City West for 5 years. Mayra is compassionate, outgoing, and family focused. She is currently pursuing her Registered Nurse degree and should graduate with Honors in 2026. She always goes above and beyond to make her patients and coworkers feel like they are cared for. We want to give her a shout out for always bringing the positivity the patients and coworkers need daily.
