About us
Dontech is an AS9100D and ISO-9001:2015 designer and manufacturer of optical filters, laminations and thin and thick film coatings for the precision optics, display, and touch screen assembly markets. Since 1971, we have designed and manufactured custom components that enhance the performance of optical systems. In 2018, we started our DyneTEC division to address the high value-added roll-to-roll (R2R) thin film coating needs on flexible substrates. We support our customers from concept through final system delivery. Our corporate headquarters is in Doylestown, PA, about an hour north of Philadelphia and two hours southwest of New York City. We have four facilities on campus; each uniquely outfitted and vertically integrated with an extremely broad range of design, test, and manufacturing capabilities. We bring over fifty years of design and manufacturing experience when helping our customers achieve their ideal solution.

DyneTEC Launches New Website Doylestown, PA – January 2, 2024 – DyneTEC, an AS9100D certified designer and manufacturer of precision roll-to-roll coating solutions, announces the launch of the company’s new website at www.dynetec.com. A subsidiary of Dontech Incorporated, DyneTEC was founded in 2018 by thin film coating industry veterans with decades of roll-to-roll coatings experience, including thin film transparent conductive oxides (ITO, AZO, IZO), metals (Au, Ag, Cu, Al, Ni) and non-conductive oxides (SiO2, TiO2, Al2O3) on a variety of flexible substrates. On the technology front Meta has great ideas, has identified unmet market needs, and even knows what a disruptive technology looks like. As a manufacturer of coatings and optics, the difficulty is translating theory and low-rate production to a market competitive, commercial product. If and when Meta gets this right, they will provide great market value to customers and shareholders. Crossing this chasm of technology and capital expense is always a challenge.

The new website showcases Dontech’s extensive array of optical coatings, custom fabricated glass, rigid plastics, and flexible substrates to improve the performance of electronic displays (LCD’s, OLED’s, LED’s) and optical assemblies for demanding requirements such as sunlight readability, high and low temperature operation, EMI/RFI shielding, NVIS compatibility, and impact resistance. The new website will function as a technical resource for engineers, program managers, and buyers of optical filters, components, and customized displays and touchscreens in the defense, avionic, medical, and industrial markets.
