  • 🚨 Job Opportunity: Grants Manager The Diversity in Leadership Institute (DLI) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating equitable educational outcomes for Black and Latinx students in California. Their mission is to cultivate a diverse and culturally competent pipeline of public education leaders. DLI focuses on racial diversity, equity, and inclusion (RDEI) and works to transform the educational landscape by increasing the representation of Black and Latinx leaders in K-12 schools. DLI is currently seeking an experienced Grants Manager to join their team. This role is critical to supporting their mission by leading the organization’s grant acquisition and management efforts. The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO and Director of Strategic Partnerships to identify funding opportunities and manage grants that will help grow DLI’s revenue by $2 million through institutional grants. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute a grant strategy that aligns with DLI’s mission and funding priorities. - Research and identify new funding prospects. - Craft compelling, data-driven grant proposals and donor communications. - Ensure compliance with grant requirements, overseeing progress toward goals. - Build relationships with funders and assist senior staff in opening new doors for funding opportunities. The Ideal Candidate:  ✔️ 2-3 years of experience in grant writing with a track record of successful proposals. ✔️ Strong project management skills and attention to detail. ✔️ A passion for social justice and equity, with a commitment to DLI’s mission. ✔️ California resident with the ability to work in a hybrid model. Make sure you're sourcing talent from a variety of backgrounds, industries, and experiences, while also using multiple channels to reach candidates. This is crucial because diverse talent often requires proactive outreach, such as posting in different areas or partnering with community organizations to tap into underrepresented talent pools. 2️⃣ Are our interviews bias-free?
