Preventative maintenance is essential for keeping your material handling systems in top shape. We use key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor our conveyors and detect early signs of wear and tear. This approach lets us address potential problems before they become serious, reducing downtime and ensuring smooth operations. By following a regular maintenance schedule and tackling issues proactively, we can keep our conveyor systems performing optimally. Ultimately, this approach helps you meet your operational goals and deliver consistent, reliable service to your customers. Our customer portal offers round-the-clock access to maintenance logs, downtime tracking, required parts, inventory tracking, providing you with comprehensive insights and oversight whenever you need it. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us directly at sales@conveyorsolutions.com or visit our website at https://lnkd.in/gtdAWU8y #conveyorsolutions #aftermarketservices #kpi #reports #preventativemaintenance

At Conveyor Solutions, Inc., safety is always our top priority. Whether you're troubleshooting or maintaining equipment, it's crucial to follow safe practices. When testing motor windings, it's essential to ensure the following: * Before troubleshooting a motor, make sure the power is turned off and locked out. * If there is an electric brake, make sure the power to the electric brake is turned off and locked out. * When checking three-phase motors: - Check the T1-T2, T2-T3 and T3-T1 resistance readings. They should all be close to the same values. If not, you may have an open or shorted winding. Disconnect the wires coming into the motor and check again. - Check the resistance readings of all three legs to ground. Theoretically, there should be no continuity to ground, but in practice, that's not always the case. But the readings should be very high, ideally at least around 100 megaohms. But it should usually be at least half that. If you see readings lower than that, it's very possible that the motor winding insulation is deteriorating or otherwise compromised. Disconnect the wires coming into the motor and check again. Remember, no task is more important than your safety. Taking a few extra seconds to turn off the power can make all the difference. #SafetyFirst #ConveyorSolutions #EquipmentMaintenance #ElectricalSafety #IndustrialSafety
