A huge thank you to our amazing friends at GENEDGE for sponsoring Babylon Micro-Farms at ChamberRVA's Mission Tomorrow career fair! 🌱🎉 This three-day event was absolutely buzzing with energy, featuring a variety of vendors showcasing an array of exciting careers, trades, and hands-on activities for local middle school students. We were thrilled to be part of this action-packed experience, and it was especially rewarding to see the future generation get so engaged with our booth. Watching their curiosity spark as they explored sustainable agriculture and the possibilities of indoor farming was truly inspiring! 🌿🌟 At our booth, students had the chance to dive into the fascinating world of controlled environment agriculture. They learned about the critical role of water quality, electrical conductivity, pH balance, and growth media—all essential elements for successful indoor farming. Seeing them connect with these concepts and envision a future where they could help shape a more sustainable world was the highlight of the event! 🌍✨ We couldn’t have done it without Genedge’s incredible support, and we’re already looking forward to inspiring even more young minds. Here’s to the next generation of innovators, farmers, and sustainability leaders! 👩🌾👨🔬 #MissionTomorrow #FutureFarmers #SustainableAgriculture #BabylonMicroFarms #explore #RVA

Working with the LA Clippers is one of our most exciting projects to date. This $2BN stadium is setting a new standard for sustainable sports 🏀 venues. We’ve installed SIX Micro-Farms in the stadium to grow fresh ingredients for their foodservice operation, run by the one and only McKean Farnell and the team at Flik Hospitality Group . …and I think we’re probably the first vertical farming company to make it on BBC Sport 🎥! Check out this clip covering this one of a kind venue! We’re at 1:17. 2020: 33% of seniors ate the recommended fruit & veg servings/day. 2021: JUST 10% of seniors ate the recommended fruit & veg servings/day. How are more people not talking about this? 90% of seniors are not consuming the right amount of fruit & veg - crazy 🤯 . For this demographic, it should be a necessity. That’s why, when you partner with Babylon Micro-Farms, we help you do exactly that. We partner with Senior Living communities, like Deerfield Episcopal Retirement Community, to transform the supply chain of their produce AND to create environments that educate & engage the residents within that space. Helping them to understand how to: - Live a healthier lifestyle - Grow their own produce - And create exciting meals All whilst knowing that their produce hasn’t travelled hundreds of miles or used pesticides that could harm them. These tools are becoming the key to eating healthier food and engaging people of all ages & experiences in understanding why they are essential. We love working with client like Sodexo to bring farm-to-table right into the dining room. Thank you Taryn Tindall for growing with us! 🚨NEW CROP ALERT🚨 Coming soon: Hydroponically grown tomatoes! 🍅 After long and thorough testing, Babylon Micro-Farms will be adding tomatoes to the crop menu in the new year! To produce these gorgeous tomatoes, customers will need to pollinate the flowers by gently tapping or shaking the plants. The more pollination that occurs, the greater the final tomato yield. Not only are these tomatoes visually appealing in the micro-farms, but they also taste absolutely delicious. We cannot wait to see what tomato creations will be made! Make sure to follow us on all socials for the latest updates. 🌱 #Babylonmicrofarms #agtech #tomatoes #indoorag #hydroponics #explore
