At April Housing, we know how important it is to build community within our teams. To celebrate hitting a major milestone last week, our Tax team in Reno spent the afternoon axe throwing. They split up into teams for some friendly competition, blowing off steam and enjoying spending time together outside of the office!

Our CEO Alice Carr and Head of Preservation Perica Bell are on the cover of the latest Commercial Observer talking about our work preserving the affordability of our portfolio while also delivering improvements that will directly benefit our residents. We’re proud of the recognition our team is getting, but even more proud of the positive impact we’re having in communities across the country. As Alice says in the piece “There’s so many challenges in it, it’s difficult work. It’s commercial real estate, but with lots of bells and whistles attached. Sometimes that’s fun, sometimes that’s just plain challenging, but it’s so rewarding.” Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/gmHhBc-Y
