This morning, we were privileged to have Kansas Department of Agriculture Secretary Mike Beam join us at the 125th American Royal Livestock Show to present a proclamation from Governor Laura Kelly declaring October 2024 American Royal month. Tradition and legacy lead us to where we are today and as we celebrate our 125th Anniversary, we look forward to our future opportunities in our new home. #AmericanRoyal #WhereChampionsAreCrowned

125 years to the day. The story of the American Royal began on October 23, 1899, when the National Hereford Show graced the grounds of the Kansas City Stockyards. This event marked the first nationwide show for the exhibition and sale of purebred cattle, and shortly after adopted the name 'the American Royal'. #AmericanRoyal #WhereChampionsAreCrowned

American Royal champions were recognized on the pitch during a ceremony at the Sporting KC American Royal Night Out match! ⚽️ Dalton Pattimore, Royal Advocate and livestock show exhibitor, Ally Lowe, youth rodeo contestant, Megan Day and her daughter, World Series of Barbecue® pitmasters, and Joe Hertzog, equine program supporter, represented our four core events in front of a crowd of 21,650 soccer fans.
