As a person who works remotely for 10 years already, i would start with finding the reason of issues with connection. It can be on provider's side, like problems with equipment in the node, issues with power supply, or even if you forgot to pay for internet services, etc. If all ok there - check your internet equipment. What you do next strictly depends on the reason of issues. You can always switch to mobile internet for some time, go to a place with wi-fi opened for clients, arrange a UPS for your equipment if reason is missing electricity in your place and it happens often.

if the link was fine and latency normal , if you have more money. upgrade your modem and router to high spec. then check the speedtest to see the result

In my experience it was bad Bell phone cable from my house to the street. It took lots of convincing and multiple Bell tech visits to have that cable replaced. 2 pairs were broken and one wire in other pair was intermittent. So, if your home is 15+ years old - ask provider to check cable. Also I noticed that if my internet suddenly disappears that means that Bell tech came to connect new customer and disconnected me. Happened several times.

Yes, first thing to do is to run Wi-Fi analyzer and switch from default channel to other available channel. Almost everybody is using channels 1 and 6, jamming each other.
