Según mi experiencia, para poder tomar acciones al momento de una interrupción repentina en la cadena de suministro, es crucial priorizar los riesgos de manera que minimices el impacto en la operación, para esto es necesario identificar las áreas críticas y esenciales para mantener el negocio en funcionamiento, por ejemplo: compra de materias primas, repuestos estratégicos y servicios logísticos de distribución y recepción. También es valioso medir el impacto que se tendrá en los clientes, por ejemplo, definir que tanto de bienes o servicios de nuestro portafolio se tendrá un mayor impacto en el cliente final, y debemos de priorizar aquellos que afecten la satisfacción del cliente y los ingresos de manera significativa.
