Celebrate accomplishments that benefit the entire organization. If those diverse cultures, lifestyles, and ideas enhance the organization's mission, of course they should be celebrated for the success they add to the corporate mission. Celebrate SKILLS, ABILITY, AND SUCCESS FIRST. A company will only survive based upon successful implementation of its mission. Unless it's impacting the financial bottom line, celebrating "diversity" is a distraction from the primary mission... building your business, promoting the most qualified individuals, and enhancing the bottom line. All business is based upon fulfilling customer needs, NOT about fulfilling personal needs outside of being recognized, and rewarded for your skills and abilities
