Let me tell you what I have done on my 800 facilities portfolio: •••In old buildings, branches, warehouses I changed 243000 tube regular lamps into LED tubes which saved 50% of lighting power consumption. •Also 29000 halogen 50 amp. Lamps into LED 5.3 amp bulbs. •Used IOT to monitor and control power sources, generators and UPSs •Changing 11000 A/C split old units with modern ones that have better COP •••In new facilities we adopt the use of VRF air conditioning systems which of very low power consumption compared to other ones •Use intelligent lighting systems •Use of high efficacy LED lighting fixtures. •••Adopting Optimum operation of building's systems All of these led to reduction of power consumption and our facilities GHG emissions

In one of my previous organisation, I took a project on energy conservation. In this the first step was to assess the available electrical equipments / HVAC and panels. Most of the available equipments were very old, and non energy efficiency rated, thus we took below steps. 1. Conducted energy audit for all electrical panels. 2. Changed all CFL lights to LED lights and sensor based lightings. 3. Standalone AC units were upgraded to energy efficient units 3. Redone insulation to save energy 4. Monitor areas and switch off electricity and AHU 5. Employee education mailers released to inform on importance of energy conservation
